About Nirma University
Nirma University is one of India’s leading
universities based in Ahmedabad (Gujarat). The University was established in
the year 2003 as a Statutory University under a special act passed by the
Gujarat State Legislative Assembly. It is recognized by the University Grants
Commission (UGC) under Section 2 (f) of the UGC Act. The University is duly accredited with ‘A’ Grade by National Assessment
and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The University is a member of Association
of Indian Universities (AIU) and the Association of Commonwealth Universities
(ACU).
About Institute of Pharmacy
The Institute of Pharmacy was established in
2003 with a view to promote excellence in pharmaceutical education and to
prepare young men and women to meet the challenges in the area of
pharmaceutical industries, education, research & development and marketing.
Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University received
All India Rank # 18 for year 2018 by the National Institutional Ranking
Framework (NIRF), MHRD, Government of India. The institute provides degree,
postgraduate and doctoral level education at this centre of excellence. The
institute is poised to face global challenges of the pharmaceutical industry
and education with the changed perspectives. Institute has received more than 4.5
crores of research grants from various government funding agencies like DST,
DBT, ICMR, GUJCOST, Ayush, SAC-ISRO, BRNS, etc. Currently, more than 30
full-time Ph.D. research scholars registered at Institute have been awarded
with Research Fellowships from DST-INSPIRE, CII, ICMR, Young Women Scientist, etc.

15% of total intake in each
programme being conducted at the Institute of Pharmacy, is available for
