JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Ensure smooth working at plant along with overall responsibilities of the Unit

2. Improvement of cGMP/WHO/ standards at the facility.

3. Maintaining & control cost of all direct/indirect material & overheads.

4. Experience in leading production, packaging, stores, managing material and housekeeping teams

5. Formulation Products directing Production team to carry the production activities & achieve targets monitoring of routine Production operations, meeting Production targets

6. Production Planning & Control Lead Purchase, Stores, Supply Chain, for the availability & release of raw & packing materials Monitoring Q.C., and Q.A. with respect to regulatory standards Carry out technical & management responsibilities

7. Good relations with the Govt. Agencies

8. Monthly and weekly production planning in coordination with other departments.

9. Ensuring online documentation of BMRs and BPR records complying with SOPs and regulatory requirements ( WHO )

10. Co-ordination with departments like QA, QC, SRC (Regulatory), maintenance and administration.

11. Ensure implementation of preventive/predictive maintenance of Critical Systems, Plant utility & equipments, Water systems, HVAC- Refrigeration, AC, Chillers etc.

12. Validation of AHU, Water, LAF, Steam Sterilizer and Filling machine Plant and QC equipments.

13. Review of master documents of BMR / BPR.

14. Preparation and review of SOPs and Protocols (Media Fill Validation , Qualification etc ).

15. Monthly and weekly production planning in coordination with other departments.

DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE

1. A dynamic professional with over 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing (Formulations) working as plant head (Minimum 3 years as Plant Head)

2. Managing overall functioning of the plant, Introduce/implement Best Manufacturing Practices, Reduce Rejection, Ensure that Plant has achieved its targets like Production, Financial, Cost Control, and Adequate exposure of managing support functions.

3. Support the overall site Training & Development process in line with the Corporate Policies with a view to enhance the current skill profile of employees, and support their endeavor for development. Strengthen the transfer of learning with a focus on developing the talent and driving the personal mastery.

4. Lead the Performance Management Process at the site with a view to enhance the individual efficiencies for overall site growth and strengthening the high performance culture.

5. Own and lead the Talent Management Process at the site with a focus on tapping talent, developing individuals and creating appropriate accession and succession plans.

6. Lead Organizational Development and Culture interventions at the site to enhance the efficiencies, increase the job-satisfaction and improve the retention of employees.

7. Initiate and support Community Partnership interventions undertaken by the function with a view to enhance commitment to corporate social responsibility.
