We extend a cordial invitation to the “5th International Conference on Medicinal Plants & Herbal Products” organised by Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Manipal University from 25th to 27th January, 2013. The seminar is aimed to provide a platform for eminent researchers, academicians, physicians, traditional medical practitioners, manufacturers & exporters of herbal products, members from the corporate sector and marketing consultants from all over the globe.

The following are the selected topics for which the scientific and programme committee is seeking contributions. However, contributions for any topic in the field of medicinal plants & herbal products will be considered. Conference will comprise plenary lectures by invited speakers and oral/poster presentations, practical demonstrations and exhibitions.
1. Medicinal plants in Ayurveda, Siddha and Ethnobotany.
2. Cultivation, Organic farming, conservation, propagation of medicinal plants.
3. Molecular biology & Biotechnology of medicinal plants
4. Pharmacognocy and Phytochemistry of medicinal plants
5. Herbal Products and Advanced Clinical Research on medicinal Plants.
6. Herbal cosmetics and nutraceuticals
7. Pharmacology and antimicrobial activity of medicinal plants.
8. Intellectual Property Rights, Quality assurance and marketing of herbal products.
