NATIONWIDE EDUCATION AND SCHOLARSHIP TEST - N.E.S.T
Please read the following instructions before filling the application form. Please note that if you are paying through Demand Draft (DD) then it must be in favour of SEMCI INDIA payable at MUMBAI. Before filling up the application form, you need to get Demand Draft ready as you need to enter details at the time of registration. Or you should keep your Credit/Debit Card / Internet Account details ready for online payment at the time of registration.

REGISTRATION FEE: Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) till 30 September, 2012. Thereafter, there is late fee of Rs. 100/- till 30 November, 2012 and Rs. 200/- till 31 December, 2012.

1. Test Centres are available only in the below mentioned cities:
AGRA, AHMEDABAD, AURANGABAD, BANGALORE, BHOPAL, BHUBANESHWAR, CHANDIGARH, CHENNAI, COIMBATORE, DELHI & NCR, DURGAPUR, ERNAKULAM (COCHIN), GOA, GUWAHATI, GWALIOR, HUBLI, HYDERABAD, INDORE, JABALPUR, JAIPUR, KOLKATA, LUCKNOW, LUDHIANA, MUMBAI & SUBURBS, NAGPUR, NASHIK, PATNA, PUNE, RANCHI, TRICHY, VADODARA, VISHAKHAPATNAM.
* In DELHI & NCR includes Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon, and Noida.
**NOTE: Though the choice of centre is not guaranteed, yet we try our level best to allot the nearest centre to your correspondence address.
2. Fill up your name as it is mentioned on your school/college certificates.
3. Write Full Name of your father.
4. Fill up your date of birth as per your High School certificate.
5. You are eligible for either NEST-I or NEST-II. Please see eligibility criteria in the N.E.S.T. menu of our website www.nest.net.in Please note that NEST-I has TWO groups, viz. Biology and Mathematics. But NEST-II has FOUR groups of disciplines (A/B/C/D) and you must tick-mark any ONE of them. 6. Give your full and correct address for correspondence.
7. **You need to choose the name of the city (in the registration form) from where you will like to appear for the test. A test center would be allotted to you in the particular city.
8. You should mention your correct permanent and functional Land-line and Mobile numbers as well as any other alternative telephone number to enable us to instantly inform you about any important matter regarding the test. Please do not change your numbers till your final result is declared.
9. Please make sure you mention your correct e-mail ID as we need it to send you all our notices or alerts first by e-mail and then by phone call and/or SMS.
10. Write full name of your College and its Location (i.e. town/city) where you are currently a bona fide student and pursuing your studies.
11. Though percentage of marks in the qualifying and other previous exams is no bar to apply for NEST and, that is why, we do not check your percentage of marks now. This will only help us verify your details when you win a high Rank and/or Cash Award.
12. Please note: Incorrect information may lead to rejection of your application form. You must undertake the responsibility of the correctness of all the information that you give in the application form.
13. You must upload your latest, identical and clear photographs as proof of your identity in the application form. The Photo must either be in (JPG, JPEG, GIF, TIF) format & Photograph should be passport-size and its memory size should not be more than 100 KB. Please keep the scanned copy ready before you start the registration process.
NOTE: Please also go through other important instructions as -
* Anyone who has won the top prize CANNOT appear again in the same category.
* If your mode of payment is by DD, you must immediately send the DD by registered post/courier to our Mumbai office address as given in our advertisements. Your application will be accepted and you will receive the confirmation of its acceptance only after the receipt your DD in our office.
* Fees once deposited will not be returned even if the test is cancelled for any reasons.
* Your test venue can be changed due to strategic or other reasons. We will NOT pay for your travelling To and Fro or for staying in the city for the test.
* Results may sometimes be delayed due to any unforeseen reasons. So, you need to keep patience while waiting for it. Winners will be informed individually as soon as the final list is ready. The result will be put in the RESULT menu of our website WWW.NEST.NET.IN
