Ramanbhai Patel College of Pharmacy started functioning from July 2004. The college is patronized by Shri Pankaj Patel, CMD – Zydus Cadilla Helathcare Ltd., to commemorate his father Shri Ramanbhai Patel – the pioneering and distinguished pharmacist of India.The institute is established with a view to promote excellence in pharmacy education and to prepare young men and women to meet the challenges of the Industrial Pharmacy and Pharmacy practice.RPCP offers B. Pharm. and M. Pharm. (with specialization in Pharmaceutical Technology, Quality Assurance and Clinical Pharmacy) programmes.The B. Pharm. and M. Pharm. programmes are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
