STABILITY EVALUATION OF DISPERSE SYSTEM
Stability of any pharmaceutical dosage form possesses main importance. Disperse system is one of the widely used dosage form in the health care. Dispersed systems consist of at least two phases: the substance that is dispersed known as the dispersed (or) internal phase, and a continuous (or) external phase. Stability of a disperse system is a major issue for the manufacturer. The physical and chemical stability of particularly suspension and emulsion, factors affecting to it, evaluation and remedies are discussed here. The formation of a stable dispersion is dependent on the steps of wetting, separation, and stabilization.
