Shri Pankaj Patel - a philanthropist and a distinguished pharmacist of India requested the trust to establish a pharmacy institute to commemorate his ather Late Shri Ramanbhai Patel.
Ramanbhai Patel College of Pharmacy (RPCP) Is established with a view to promote excelence in pharmacy education and to prepare young talent to meet the challenges of Industrial pharmacy and pharmacy practice. It offers UG program (B. Pharm), PG programs)M.Pharm) and doctorate program (PhD (Pharmacy))- Fourteen research scholars arc registered lor the PhD program. The institute Is equipped with latest instrumentation facilities including Fhridised Bed Dryer, Extruder, Spheronlzer, Tablet Compression Machine. Spray Dryer, Probe Sonicator, Gel Electrophoresis, HPlC, HPTLC. Spectroflourimeter, BIOPAC system and State ol the art Aseptic Lab complying with Industry norms.

Gujarat Council on Science and Technology (GIHCOSTI working under the aegis of the Department of Science S Technology, Government of Gujarat, is the nodal agency for the 5ST promotion, awareness, education, research and development through its various programmes and outreach activities across the state for nurturing, disseminating and popularizing science among the society upto the grass root level through its Community Soence Centres (CSC) network I n the State.

Indian industry has realized the benefits and Importance of IP creation and protection. The Government is doing its best to bring about sweeping changes in IP culture and administration in the country.
RPCP realizing the importance of IPR as the key differentiator for industrial competitiveness is organizing two-day workshop enabling the pharma professionals to better understand current scenario and future challenges within Global Pharma Industry The overall objective of RPCP's Initiative is to enhance competitiveness by knowledge and wealth creation through IPR.
The seminar attempts to bring an m depth knowledge of the existing scenario in the pharma industry post introduction of product patent in patent ordinance. It also aims to highlight the best practices through case-studies of the pharma companies and survival strategies lor enhancing their competitiveness.
