Invited for the Post of Project Fellow in BHU

Banaras Hindu University ranks among the first few in the country in the field of academic and research output. This university has two campuses, 3 institutes, 16 faculties, 140 departments, 4 advanced centers and 4 interdisciplinary schools. The University is making its mark at the national and international levels in a number of frontier areas of Science, Social Science, Technology, Medicine and Agriculture etc.

Applications are invited for the post of a Project Fellow in the fellowship of Rs.8000/-p.m. in a U.G.C. sponsored project entitled, "Synthesis and structural studies on mono- and bi-metallic complexes of thiocarboxylate iigands" sanctioned up to 30-6-2014. The post is purely temporary and coterminous with the project.

The candidate should be M.Sc. in Chemistry with at least 55% marks and age not exceeding 40 years.

• A relaxation of 5 years upper age limit will be given to SC/ST/ Physically Handicapped/ Female candidates.
• Candidates with experience of research in the area of project or related field will be preferred.
• All things being equal SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.
